Fresh Towers Nearing Completion

One of the most talked-about additions is The Malabar Residences at 126 East 57th Street — a 28-story building in Midtown East that’s nearing completion. This project will deliver approximately 147 new condominium units along with ground-floor retail, bringing modern living space to a prime corridor near Lexington Avenue.

Meanwhile, 125 West 57th Street has just reached completion. This mixed-use tower on Billionaires’ Row adds office space, retail, and architectural interest to Midtown’s fast-changing built environment.

Super-Tall Projects on the Rise

Looking slightly further ahead, Manhattan’s skyline is poised for even bigger changes. 520 Fifth Avenue, a mixed-use supertall nearing its final stages of construction, is expected to open in mid-2026. Rising more than 1,000 feet, it will add new residential and commercial space to Midtown’s iconic street grid.

Other large projects, like the future 343 Madison Avenue skyscraper near Grand Central Terminal, are also in early construction phases and promise to bring more office and mixed-use activity to Midtown East in the coming years.
